“A pet peeve is a particular and often continual annoyance” according Dictionary.com. Sometimes, I have to face in a real life. Pet peeves in some cases are funny, but in other cases they make me feel annoyed. For instance, when we got line to buy tickets with my friends in a cinema, many people did not get in line and jump in front of us to try to get their tickets first. This made me got really annoyed and angry. Other example is a small trouble of traffic in my countries. When I was stopping in the intersection because of red light, some young boy and gangs who wanted to make a stupid fun usually worked their car hooter loudly while the light was still red. This also made me and other people so annoyed. These are some example I had had experiences before I came to here
Wow, I will really get angry too, if someone jump in front of me while I've stood in line for like 20 mins. I've faced the similar situation while I was waiting for a taxi and somebody acted like he was on a phone and took my taxi that was coming right in front of me. That really pissed me off!
ReplyDeleteps. I think I found another pet peeve, the captcha that we have to put in every time before posting a comment. Sometimes the pic part was too blurry. How can I suppose to know what that number is! Madness!!!
Hahaha Bill.. the captcha also make me become a pet peeve...I remmenber that one time I had to put the characters about 9 or 10 times before post my comment
DeleteIts true. Traffic is a pet peeve for mostly everyone. They should find a solution for traffic. Don't you think ?! Another thing, cutting lines makes me angry too. Sometimes i just can not control myself and i have to do something about it! Either tell him get get in line or make a scene so that he can learn from his mistake ! LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, cutting line is easy to make us mad after waiting long long time.
DeletePS: why dont I see you blogger? do you know how to fix it.
Oh yes! These instances occur quite frequently, and that is so irritating.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you, May.
DeleteActually, I think most people will get annoyed if someone jump in the line. And I always will ask them not to do that. I think we can ask them not to do that. It is our right.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the bad thing is sometimes I ask them, and they continue to do it as they dont hear anything
